Vol. 4 No. 1 (2026): ICCL 2026: The 4th International Conference on Cultures and Languages
ICCL 2026 welcomes scholars, researchers, lecturers, students, practitioners, authors, and reviewers who are interested in contemporary studies of language, literature, history, culture, and creative media. Through plenary sessions, parallel presentations, and scholarly discussions, the conference offers an interdisciplinary forum for presenting research findings, examining decolonial perspectives, and developing academic collaboration among participants from Indonesia and other countries. The conference will be held on 2 and 3 September 2026 at Hotel Al Azhar Azhima Bandara, Ngemplak, Boyolali, Indonesia.
The conference invites submissions addressing four principal themes: the revitalization of indigenous and local languages for inclusive education and cultural sustainability; decolonial literature as a medium for resistance, hope, social justice, and well-being; local histories, collective memory, and cultural heritage as foundations for peaceful and just institutions; and creative resistance through media, design, and digital storytelling for a sustainable future.
The abstract submission period runs from 20 July to 16 August 2026, followed by the announcement of submission decisions on 17 August 2026. Authors whose abstracts are accepted must submit their full papers by 24 August 2026. The committee will announce the best paper selection on 27 August 2026. Selected best paper authors will receive complimentary full-board accommodation, including hotel accommodation, meals, and conference kits.
