Theme: Law, Society and Sustainability: Navigating Challenges in the Digital, Environmental, and Socio-Religious Landscape

Hosted by the Faculty of Sharia at Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Mas Said Surakarta, the International Conference on Law, Society, and Sustainability (ICColaSS) 2025 is convened under the vital theme, "Law, Society and Sustainability: Navigating Challenges in the Digital, Environmental, and Socio-Religious Landscape." This conference aims to foster a critical and interdisciplinary dialogue on the complex intersections where legal systems confront the most pressing contemporary issues. It seeks to explore how legal frameworks must evolve to address the ethical and regulatory dilemmas of the digital age, respond to the urgent call for environmental justice and sustainable development amidst a climate crisis, and navigate the dynamic and often sensitive relationship between state law and diverse socio-religious norms. By bringing together scholars, practitioners, and policymakers, ICColaSS 2025 endeavors to chart innovative pathways and formulate robust solutions that promote justice, resilience, and sustainability across these multifaceted and interconnected domains.
