Theme
The International Conference on Islamic Studies and Educational Research 2025 brings together scholars, researchers, and practitioners to critically engage with the theme “Decolonial Studies and Postcolonial Piety: Digital Islam, Education, Local Tradition, and Global Discourse.” This conference provides a platform to explore how Islamic thought, practices, and education intersect with contemporary challenges of digital transformation, global knowledge production, and the preservation of local traditions. By addressing issues of decoloniality and postcolonial piety, the conference seeks to foster intellectual exchange on how Muslim communities negotiate their identities, religious expressions, and educational frameworks within both local and global contexts.
