About the Conference
Background
The development of digital technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), has had a significant impact on the world of education. Islamic universities face major challenges and opportunities in utilizing AI, both in learning, research, and curriculum development. AI has the potential to enrich Islamic study methodologies, increase access to classical literature, and support more in-depth analysis of religious data.
However, the use of AI also raises ethical, methodological, and epistemological issues. Therefore, an international academic forum is needed to bring together experts, lecturers, researchers, and students to discuss strategies for optimizing the use of AI in Islamic studies in higher education.
Objectives
1. Identify opportunities and challenges in implementing AI in Islamic studies at universities.
2. Explore AI-based methodological and pedagogical approaches for the development of Islamic studies.
3. Build an international collaboration network between academics, researchers, and practitioners.
4. Formulate strategic recommendations for the use of AI in supporting the Islamization of science in the digital age.
